This photograph was taken just around the corner from Merewether, Newcastle NSW. I spent many hours enjoying the afternoon and twilight hours with my daughter down by the water when she was about two years old. A certain peacefulness would wash over me.
The Newcastle coastline extends approximately 14km from Glenrock lagoon in the south, to Stockton in the north. It has a great diversity of coastal environments. To the north of the Hunter River is Stockton beach. It forms part of the largest coastal sandy barrier in NSW. The coastline to the south of the Hunter River is characterised by smaller pocket beaches which are separated by rocky cliffs and coastal bluffs.

This is a fine art painting original printed on superior quality 308gsm paper. It is 100% cotton rag, acid free paper, printed with high quality Epson inks.

WARNING: DO NOT UNROLL YOUR PRINT BEFORE FRAMING. IT IS ADVISED THAT YOU ALLOW THE FRAMER TO UNROLL YOUR PRINT TO AVOID DAMAGING THE PIECE. THE PRINT IS DELICATE AND CAN CREASE OR TEAR SO HANDLE THE PIECE AT YOUR OWN RISK. ASK THE FRAMER TO REMOVE ALL TAPE FROM THE PACKAGING BEFORE UNROLLING. IF YOU CHOOSE TO UNROLL YOUR PIECE AND DAMAGE DOES OCCUR, I WILL REPLACE YOUR PRINT AT COST.
