I photographed ‘Grandpa Galah’ near Scone in the Upper Hunter Valley, New South Wales. He appeared to be slightly mesmerized, enjoying the rain drops falling down. It was a misty morning and there he was sitting on the Hills Hoist clothesline. He calmly sat, with his wise old eyes, observing my movements as I quietly walked closer to him.
